Southern California-based makeup artist Shoushana Balian has over a decade’s worth of experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry. Her wide range of talent has been showcased on television shows, photo shoots, fashion shows, industry events and in print work.
Shoushana’s training puts her at the cutting edge of today’s fashions, trends, and techniques. Following her childhood dream, her first job was with MAC Cosmetics, where she performed multiple makeup application per day on a diverse range of clientèle. By extracting herself from her comfort zone and working on clients of all races, skin tones, and stylistic preferences, she gained comfort and skill in doing makeup on anyone. She continued to hone and enhance her skills during lengthy stints with Stila and Laura Mercier.
In addition to the practical application of makeup, Shoushana is a graduate of the Special Effects Makeup course at The Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood, California and is also a licensed esthetician.
Shoushana has worked on such shows as Bravo Television's Emmy Nominated show "Flipping Out" as well as "Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis", Kids BBQ Championship on Food Network, and currently works on Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry on E! Entertainment.
